5G Compatible?

I have Hot Pepper with VLE5 .

The company called "QLink" sent me a SIM card to upgrade to 5G.

In installed the card, and reset the settings, but I get this message "Invalid Card, Emergency Calls Only". The company is telling me that the phone is not 5G compatible, and I think it

is a bad SIM card. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
