Connecting For The First Time
Follow these steps to connect your hearing aid with your phone:
- Confirm that your hearing aid is turned on and supports Bluetooth
- If your hearing aid has an Android app, tap on Google Play from your phone to search for and download the Android app. Then follow instructions on the screen to connect
- If your hearing aid does not have an Android app, go to Settings > Connected devices. Tap on "Pair new device, then tap on the name of the hearing aid under "Available devices."
After pairing your hearing aid with your phone, be sure both your hearing aid and phone are charged regularly to remain connected.
Troubleshooting Tips
If you have trouble reconnecting, please follow these steps:
- Turn off your hearing aid; then turn it back on
- Turn off your phone; then turn it back on
- Go to Settings > Connected devices. Find the name of your hearing aid
- On the screen, tap on the gear icon to the right of your hearing aid name
- Make sure that the following are turn on: Phone calls, Media audio, Contact sharing
If you have successfully paired your hearing aid on this phone and it is no longer working, please follow these steps to reset the connection:
- Go to Settings > Connected devices. Find the name of your hearing aid
- On the screen, tap on the gear icon to the right of your hearing aid name
- Then tap on "Forget"
- From here, follow the instructions for "Connecting For The First Time"
