How do I turn on the TalkBack feature?

Go to Settings > Accessibility > TalkBack. The default setting is with TalkBack turned off. Tap on "Use service" and tap "OK" to turn on Talk Back.

When TalkBack is turned on, it provides spoken feedback so that you can use your device without looking at the screen. To navigate using TalkBack:

• Swipe right or left to move between items
• Double-tap to activate an item
• Drag two fingers to scroll

Note: a shortcut to turn on TalkBack is by holding both the volume up and volume down buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. Follow on-screen directions to confirm TalkBack is turned on.
